Dehydration affects your skin’s ability to perform essential functions like cell turnover. Without adequate hydration, your skin does not shed its outer layer frequently enough, and dead cells accumulate on its surface. This contributes to clogged pores, congestion and a lackluster complexion.
Slough Off Dry Skin
Have you ever tried dry skin scrubbing before?
Would you consider giving it a try for your dull complexion?
Dry skin scrubbing will be your favorite morning invigorating ritual.
“The Ritual Of Dry Skin Scrubing enhances your skin’s ability to absorb everything else, from acne medicine to anti-aging serum.”
If you scrub on a regular basis, you are consistently sloughing off the dead skin and allowing new and plump skin cells to come to the surface of your skin, which is a crucial step to achieving a brighter complexion.
The Dry Skin Scrubbing Ritual, is the active process of removing dead skin cells from the body. Our body sheds almost one million skin cells everyday, making room for fresh skin. Our body does this for several reasons: To eliminate external pollutants from the skin (remember your epidermis, or top level of skin is your largest organ, and your first defense against your environment), to adjust to climate, and to shed bacteria and fungus. While our body is remarkable in its ability to self-preserve and restore, sometimes it needs a little help, and that’s where exfoliation comes in.
Your skin care regimen shouldn't only consist of a shower with soap and water,
Dry Skin Scrubbing should be a care too!

I am a huge believer in learning by doing.
I have to admit that I didn't pay lot of attention to that ritual until one day my face started to look dull.I then took my exfoliating cloth and started the ritual. I started by lightly scrubbing every morning and night with my soft cloth over my face and it started to sloughing off dead skin cells, my skin felt so supple that now it is a part of my every day beauty regimen.
Benefits of Dry Skin Scrubbing Ritual
- MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND CLEAR COMPLEXION
From clogged pores to ingrown hairs, 'Ready, Set, GLOW!' Dry Skin Scrubbing Ritual works to prevent the imperfections that cause your skin to feel rough and bumpy. With consistent use, you'll see an improvement in your overall tone and complexion.
- LESS BLACKHEADS
Clean Pores (& Smaller Pores) Pores are generally clogged with sweat, dirt, and oil, causing waste to build up underneath the skin. Dry Skin Scrubbing helps keep pores clear allowing you to sweat freely, and your body to naturally detoxify to the best of its ability.
- SKIN CARE PRODUCTS WORK BETTER
Dry skin scrubbing exfoliates the skin, which defuses surface imperfections and allows pore congestion a direct pathway to purge. This exfoliation process also increases the absorption and efficacy of your products.
- ANTI-AGING
As many exfoliants do, dry skin scrubbing gives your face that “instant glow” that makes you look radiant. Dry Skin Scrubbing helps remove the dead skin cells to make way for the younger, healthier skin beneath.
Before you begin
Scrub: You will need a natural, non-synthetic bath and body bathing accessory like our Exfoliating Cloth.
You can alternately use a brush. It is important to look for brushes with natural bristles, as synthetics can be too harsh for the skin, leaving micro-cuts. You may want to use a smaller, softer brush where the skin is most delicate like the face, neck, and breast area.
Dry Skin Scrubbing of course requires scrubbing over dry skin. The best time to do it is right before taking a shower.
It’s very important that you clean your scrubbing cloth regularly. Use warm water and a nontoxic soap to wash your cloth at least every other day. Let the cloth air dry in a clean place to avoid collecting bacteria or mildew.
How to dry skin scrub

Finally, after you scrub, it’s important to follow-up with moisturizer, serum, or body butter to ensure your skin is absorbing fresh moisture.
In time, this process will produce naturally soft, supple skin.
If you're one with normal or oily skin, I would recommend giving it a shot twice a day morning and night. Finally, after you scrub, it’s important to follow-up with moisturizer, serum, or body butter to ensure your skin is absorbing fresh moisture.

*For best results before first time use, place the exfoliating cloth in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes to transform the fibers into a more tightly knit, soft cloth, releasing its gentle exfoliating properties.
The Warnings:
However, The Dry Skin Scrubbing Ritual isn't for everybody. If you have sensitive skin or prone to rosacea, you could experience irritation or flare-ups, so you might want to talk to your dermatologist before getting started on any dry-skin scrubbing ritual.
If you have just been out in the sun and gotten a burn or even a tan, dry scrubbing is not recommended.
Exceptions: Do not dry scrubbing on top of open sores.
a. If you have chronic dry skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, proceed with caution and scrub around outbreaks
b. If you have varicose veins, scrub around the affected vein. It is OK to scrub above the vein.
Never share your scrubbing cloth with other people
Don’t scrub in combination with a manual exfoliant or peel
Can dry scrubbing cause breakouts?
While it can significantly help regulate oil production, reduce the appearance of existing acne, and even prevent future breakouts, there is a chance that dry skin scrubbing will cause your face to (sometimes massively) breakout.
This will occur during the first week of ritual, and it’s completely normal. Continue scrubbing (only once per day in the beginning), and your skin will return to normal.
Will Dry Scrubbing Cause Damage to My Skin Over Time?
No, dry scrubbing is not going to damage your skin. Quite the contrary, you’ve just learned the secret of beautiful skin—exfoliation. When scrubbing with a gentle cloth like ours it'll bring it to you in the most effective, affordable way.
Care:
- Hang your scrubber cloth to dry between uses
- Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent
- Avoid bleach or fabric softeners
- Hang to dry
TIP: Based on our experience, a single cloth will last approximately 3-5 months when used during daily cleansing rituals. It can then be repurposed as a house cleaning cloth.
If you’re serious about taking care of your skin, mind and body, it’s worth making dry skin scrubbing as a part of your regular beauty routine.
Eat Well, Stay Hydrated
To make sure your skin doesn’t lose its vibrancy, keep away from processed and fatty foods. Eat a balanced diet that contains plenty of fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables are beneficial to the appearance and health of your skin, and will help protect it from free-radical damage. Foods rich in vitamins A, C and E in particular are particularly noted for improving the skin’s appearance. Furthermore, make sure to drink at least six glasses of water daily, as the body needs to receive adequate hydration to maintain healthy-looking skin. Avoid or limit caffeinated beverages since caffeine interferes with the body’s absorption of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C and iron, both strongly linked to a hydrated complexion and rosy glow.I am sure you can keep your skin youthful for years to come. That is what I am striving for and have so far succeeded.
